RFC strives to magnify God by equipping people to become like Jesus in character and service. RFC values God’s Word, Strong Families, Unity, Ministry, Christ-Life Change and Reaching Out. Carrie Daws is a stay-at-home, home schooling mother of three. She started Blue Jeans and Tennies in April 2004 after her family made a military move. Her Bible study group from her previous location wanted to continue to meet and the foundation for this ministry was laid. The group began steady growth and, in January 2007, Blue Jeans and Tennies came under the leadership accountability of RockFish Church.
Carrie lives with her husband and children in Raeford, North Carolina. She has been published in the bi-weekly prayer magazine “PrayerWorks”, Praise Reports: Inspiring Real-Life Stories of How God Answers Prayer, volume 2 by Crosswalk.com, and The One Year LifeVerse Devotional by Jay Payleitner.
